Heaven and Earth
The experience now long gone
Pushed behind
Yet it surfaces
Like air under water
At moments unexpected
The truth of it
Begs attention
So unmundane
Not like this world
It is meant for the next
The knowing of it
Much like the forbidden fruit
That provides too much
To handle just now
Yet our spirits yearns
For an explanation
The experience provides
And although so brief
That it must be
Time lain aside
All is meant to be
Heaven and earth
